INTIMATE MOUNTAIN WEDDING
This intimate wedding took place right outside of Georgetown, Colorado in a tiny town called Silver Plume. Here in this mountain town held a historic little white church and a refurbished bar where the couple had spent many hours dating. When we first met with them, their dream was to get married in the bar's backyard where the groom had performed songs for her on his guitar. We agreed it HAD to happen and we would do anything we could to help their dreams come true. Both the town and venue were cozy, personal and the perfect destination for a late June wedding.
Their mountain wedding invitations were letterpresses by Pressed CO with a handmade Silver Plume map guiding the guests to the remote and unnamed location. The Church was adorned with its' original mauve wallpaper and their little nephew rung the historic church bell directly after the couples first kiss. Guests were invited to travel by foot down through main street, through the tiny vintage shops to the bar reception. They were greeted by our staff offering signature drinks, an enormous charcuterie spread and relaxation on their signature back patio.
The night was crafted in farmhouse style with personal wedding details around every corner. The clear tent was lit with a custom hanging installation, market lights and black tapper candles. The guests found their seat by hand calligraphy escort cards stamped with the couple's custom wax seal. Guests began a four course meal with specialty bread and cinnamon butter followed by a Colorado peach salad, an intermezzo, and their custom entree all served on specialty china.
After dinner, the couple decided to rid traditional dancing replace it with an evening of karaoke sing-offs for the grand prize. This romantic evening was relaxed, warm and certainly something these 50 attendees will surely never forget.
