Blair + Spencer
Art Deco Dream
Blair and Spencer wanted a wedding with a 1920 art deco influence in an untraditional location - the perfect mix of history meets contemporary.
The Maven hotel, Poka Lola & the Dairy block were the perfect trifecta for their welcoming, exciting and memorable celebration.
Entrance Goals
As guests arrived, they entered through the Maven lobby to Poka Lola where they were greeted with this custom welcome sign and a glass of champagne while getting settled. Once all guests had arrived, they were invited them out back to the artful alley in the Dairy Block to find their seat.
Gold Aisle && Hexagon Heaven
Our team designed the 3 hexagons to pull in the art deco vibe in with a modern influence and a 50 foot gold aisle for strong geometric lines.
The perfect statement piece for the blended centuries.
At cocktail hour, guests were greeted by pre-poured signatures:
Not Blairs Vodka Soda with platinum talon with an orange twist.
Spencer’s Miami Shot kettle one botanical peach and orange blossom with coconut juice.
It was a special treat, and once they were gone, they were gone.
Small/minimal floral arrangements and candles by Kimball Floral accented the signs, tables and bar.
Guests got a chance to sign their guestbook and find their name for dinner service displayed on a custom seating assignment display,
before getting ready for an ENTIRE evening of dancing.
They danced and danced before the Dj said “Hey Spencer, Blair has a surprise for you.” & The surprise of the night it was. A trumpeter came to perform Spencer’s favorite song which gave way to him owning the dance floor for an unforgettable solo performance.
True Joy.
